Bad, bad, bad

With the Banks down 1%, the Biotechs down 3%, the Internets down more than 2%, the breakout probably turns out to be a fake one.

Party crasher

GOOG singlehanded kills the rally. Today it is going to be nasty.

Blogrolling

I spent the whole evening figuring out Blogrolling. I saw it appearing on others' blogs long time ago, but did not go into it. Please forgive me, I am always lazy and late on the new stuff. Now it is finally up and running.

Niubi:)

When I was in Bei Jing last December, I was shocked by how fluent the western people can speak mandarin. Without seeing, just by listening, sometimes I can't tell whether it is coming from a foreigner or local people. Now this guys is talking about "niubi". Wow, they have learned every Chinese vocabularies.

Wanna try the famous "Pink" hotdogs?

Even though I am not so into American junk food, I still brought her to the L.A.'s famous "pink" hotdogs. It has more than 60 year history.

Getty center

Over the last weekend, I brought an old friend of mine, who is first time visiting U.S, to the famous Getty museum here at Southern California. I have been there numerous times, but never took some good pictures. Though my friend is not a professional photographer, her excellent technique impresses me a lot. Here are some pictures I wanna share with you. A truly remarkable architecture.

Update: EQIX

It continues its breakout yesterday.

Time flies

Last night I noticed my blog started March 2005, which means one year anniversary is close. Hehehe. Time flies without any signs.

Slow market

The market is taking a rest after a somewhat strong session yesterday. I am holding most of my long positions.

Market

Even though the major averages are basically flat, I am trading like crazy. With the Banks holding well and GOOG bouncing, I think the downside is limited, by now. And this is seen by other traders as well, since they are picking up techs again.

So is SIFY.

REDF

Another pick from my chat room.

RMBS

PWAV

PWAV continues to climb, the green arrow is my buy point.

SCMR

I suggested it this morning.

LAMR

I recommended it yesterday in the chat room.

TLGD

It has been featured in my newsletter since the green arrow.

Thursday, February 16, 2006

PARL

I recommended it couple of days ago and again today. I think more upside is ahead. Lots of short sellers on this one.

Update: JAKK

I would take profit above $27.

Wednesday, February 15, 2006

JAKK

I suggested it this morning in the chat room.

Concern

One thing I don't like is the Dow leading the rebound, which usually won't be a powerful and long bull trend. But this could change if the semiconductors could play catch-up.

Market

Biotech goes back on buy signal as now. plus we have networking, banking, airlines. Semiconductors and internets still lagging. Not perfect, but a good start.

Tuesday, February 14, 2006

Networking

Networking remains strong during the selloff. It becomes the new leader of the market.

Monday, February 13, 2006

Market

The market has entered a boring period, patience is all we have.

Thursday, February 9, 2006

FORM

I recommended it this morning in the chat room.

Wednesday, February 8, 2006

Techland

In the tech land, the semiconductor and the networking become the new leader, replacing the internet.

Update on the fire

Today I went to supermarket to pick up some groceries. On the way home, the sky is so blue, except the sky above the small hill where my house is located. It is grey. At the gate, I got the latest update: mandatory evacuation removed, now voluntary evacuation.

Wild fire

I thought I could relax a little to get used to the U.S. time, but I could not. I did not go out at all until market closed, then I got notice that everybody gotta evacuate because of the wild fire in the neighborhood. The wild fire happened every year here at southern California, but this time it is so close. In a short time of period, I saw sedans, SUVs, pickups running on the small street that were loaded with bags, boxes, and cases. I got nervous, rush back to the house and started packing immediately. Suddenly I had the pictures rolling in my mind, which looked like from the Hollywood war movies. I felt what it may be like when people tried to flee away from the hometown during the war time. Suddenly I feel I am so lucky to live in a peaceful time and this little difficulty seems nothing.

Monday, February 6, 2006

Tech

The Nasdaq is leading the way down, no good. We still have lots of room on the downside, not oversold yet. Be cautious.

Market

The strength is in energy and basic material sectors, semiconductor is also strong; everything else should be avoided.

AAPL

I recommended it last night.

Saturday, February 4, 2006

I am back

Back to the States. Back to home. Feel so well. Let's make some money together starting from Monday.

Wednesday, February 1, 2006

MNST

I recommended it this morning.
