Happy New Year

Happy new year to my fellow traders and readers, wish you guys all have a profitable new year.

History repeated?

Looking at the shadows, got the similarity? Now we just need a bullish bar to burst out, as we did in September.

Update: SOLF

Up 28% in 4 days.

LVS is still in a downtrend, now almost $10 in the pocket.

Tuesday, December 25, 2007

Double bottom?

A breakout above the trend line will signal the bullish bottom, at that time TSI indicator will also turn bullish by crossing above 0 line.

Monday, December 24, 2007

Merry Christmas

I added SOLF last night, now 20% in 2 days!

Friday, December 21, 2007

NASDAQ turns

I become bullish if we can hold the gain today.

Wednesday, December 19, 2007

LVS has been featured in my newsletter for days.

Tuesday, December 18, 2007

I added last night.

Happiest when I see this!

An email I received from my subscriber.

Hello Uclatrader,

I love your subscription service. Keep up the good work. You are truely brillant and have guided me through this volatile market. I have lost so much money in the past few months and you have taught me a lot. At least I am starting to make my money now with your newsletter. Thank you.

NASDAQ revisited

The bullish pattern no longer exists, more selling pressure ahead.

Wednesday, December 12, 2007

The bullish inversed head and shoulder is still intact, as now.

Monday, December 10, 2007

I added UTHR back last night.

Financials are bouncing!

As I said numerously before, when the financials are rallying, I would be more dare to long. I am heavily long right now.

Friday, December 7, 2007

I added FWLT earlier this week, now $10 in the pocket.

Update: MGM

More upside ahead.

I added SNDA this Wednesday.

Thursday, December 6, 2007

So is LIFC.

I added ISRG too last night.

I added MGM to my newsletter last night.

Wednesday, December 5, 2007

I have been holding SPWR for days, now $10 in the pocket.

EEM has been in my newsletter for days, now $8 in the pocket.

Monday, December 3, 2007

WYNN has been in my newsletter for days, now $10 in the pocket.

Sunday, December 2, 2007

After shaken out, I added FSLR back.

Update: MA

MA is up $16 since my buy pt.

Friday, November 30, 2007

Nice escape again

Even I covered with a loss, now it is still $65 under the current price.

I added MORN Wednesday's night.

Thursday, November 29, 2007

EDU was mentioned in my newsletter.

Update: FCSX

Wednesday, November 28, 2007

Another great escape

Even after today's 23% gain, JRJC is still well below my escape pt.

EEM was added last night.

MA was added couple of days ago.

Monday, November 26, 2007

Sorry for the delay-YGE

I would avoid it.

I added FCSX last night.

Tuesday, November 20, 2007

Update: DRYS

Closed the position today for $24 gain.

Monday, November 19, 2007

I would also cover some DRYS here for $20 gain, rest maybe 80 area.

I would cover some right here to pocket $14, the rest at $100 level.

Thanksgiving rally?

Are we still gonna get a holiday rally? I am not sure. The market looks really dark this morning, seems more downside ahead. But is there an old saying, describing the sky is darkest before dawn?

Bear Stern

Back in Sep, I pointed out I would use BSC as a market tell. Now it seems still valid. BSC is still in a firm downtrend that means the selloff is not over yet.

My reply

I received several emails kindly reminding me that other races riding on the bull too. To them, I want to say that "it still does not mean the behavior is welcome and encouraged".

Sunday, November 18, 2007

Wanna run with the bull?

Please, Chinese tourists, don't make me embarrassed being a Chinese.

Thursday, November 15, 2007

Who says I don't short?

I added all these short candidates to my newsletter.

Tuesday, November 13, 2007

I added NUE this week.

Friday, November 9, 2007

Be careful

Before the market, momentum stocks get crushed, names like JASO, ASTI, TSL, SPWR, FMCN, BIDU, WFR, FSLR and ISRG. Be careful, the selloff is getting nastier.

Thursday, November 8, 2007

This is so old time

Check out FSLR, up a whopping $50. Also check out other solar names I kept mentioning here: JASO up $10, STP up $6, TSL up $5, SPWR up $9, YGE up $2, ASTI up $1.5. This is so like internet age.

Update: WFR

After an unfortunate shaken out, I got WFR back. Now it is up $5 over my buy pt.

Banks weekly chart

The banking index is right at the support.

I added JRJC early this week.

Tuesday, November 6, 2007

Wow, differrent this time

I might be right on time with right stocks again. Look at today's point gainers: FSLR up $21, STP up $8, SPWR up $20, WFR up $6, JASO up $5, TSL up $5, MA up $14, EDU up $4, CTRP up $4. Similarities? Solars and Chinese names, except MA is a financial stock I added!

Monday, November 5, 2007

44% gain!

If you could have shorted CHNR as I suggested, now 44% in your pocket.

On the run

My prior pick ASTI is on the run.

I am adding

Also some Financial names.

I start buying

I am buying some Chinese and Solar names in this selloff, though I might be early.

Friday, November 2, 2007

The market is selling off hard right now, don't try to be a hero by picking the bottom. Today is not scary, what scares me is the next Monday if we don't bounce by the close.

Earning can change everything

No matter how good the technical looks like, a bad earning can ruin the good looking chart. And that is why I don't suggest holding through earnings. Betting earning is a sucker's game.

Thursday, November 1, 2007

I added MA last night, today's selloff gave us a good opportunity to get in.

Tough market

The following is my comment from last night's newsletter.

Hello traders,

The market rallied strongly after the Fed cut the rate. You can tell the numbers of my candidates, the rally is getting narrower. I am not able to find good setups as many as before.

Is it a fake rally? Time will tell.

Wednesday, October 31, 2007

I added LULU too.

I finally added WFR.
