Bulls are tested

I thought the Santa rally started yesterday, but the conflict between the North and the South Korea makes things interesting. Usually the incident like this is short lived and provides us a buying opportunity, which I think it still applies this time. So what do the bulls need to do? We need to shrug off the news quickly and build a sounding base. Otherwise, the correction may be rusumed.

China market

As you all know, I treat China stock market as a leading indicator. Last Friday's monster drop has reached its 30 day moving average, which seems to be our destination as well. I will look for a bounce around 30 day moving average, both China and US.

Oil has been on fire lately, BEXP is one of them.

SMTC reached the target today.

Same thing with MPG, which has been stalked for days.

BORN is breaking out, which I have followed for days in my newsletter.

Bullish sentiment

I did a survey at Bespoke.com and I am not surprised to see the bullish sentiment has grown to 61%, which probably means that the market needs a rest, especially few market participants expect the market would drop from here.

A true bull market

I know lots of traders are expecting some sort of pullbacks soon, including myself, but I am not sure we will get it and how deep it will decline. As time goes, the rally has gradually made this market a true bull market. Some characteristics I have witnessed but overlooked are: surprising good performance of the IPOs and investor bidding up the stocks even before their earnings, which shows no fear and optimism. So even in the coming days or weeks we will get a pullback, I guess it would be shallow and buyable.

KUTV has been a very good performer since added to the newsletter.

I am letting ALTR go, even though I do think more upside for this stock. Just protecting profit.
