Tech is lagging

Readers have read my blog long enough know I become concerned when the tech is lagging. For that reason I am trimming some long positions I added last week and yesterday.

Jim Cramer's favorite

Sorry to pick on Jim Cramer again. His favorite stock SHLD has been firmly in a downtrend since $190. If you believe in a talking head and follow him blindly, all you holding now is probably an empty bag.

FSLR

I added FSLR last night, be careful since its earning is this week.

Some good escapes.

YGE seems to have found the low during this selloff.

Give credit to Jim Creamer

Jim Creamer had a 4 horsemen in the tech sector: AMZN, RIMM, AAPL,and I forget the last one. All three held very well in this nasty decline. I should give him credit for his insight. Now I want to add the 5th one: BIDU. If the market wants to be bullish again, they will be the leaders.

I did suggest buying into BIDU's earning, though my buy pt is $170 area. Today's low is $173.43. After hours it is at $218. You got my pt.

YGE

YGE has been featured in my newsletter for days, today the buy pt is triggered.

NASDAQ

Still well above the 20 day moving average. I can't time the top, so I stay bullish.

Uptrend is over?

We have a nasty selloff, but we are still in a strong uptrend no matter how you are gonna play it. Yesterday we were still at the high, surely we don't feel it today. I am holding most of my long positions, still a bull.
